Toninho Dingl
b. 1988, Germany
Lives and works in Altötting (GER)
Toninho Dingl received drawing lessons in early childhood before setting aside artistic practice for several years. During his studies, he rediscovered his interest in design, graphics and painting, which led to early exhibition projects in Altötting and later at the ORF in Salzburg.
After completing his studies in geography, he decided to fully pursue his artistic practice. On the advice of Prof. Franz Ackermann, he began studying at the Art Academy in Karlsruhe, where he expanded his technical skills in visual arts and deepened his knowledge of art history.
In 2021, Dingl exhibited at MISA Messe St. Agnes with Galerie Johann König in Berlin and at Weserhalle during Berlin Art Week. He received the Art Prize of the city of Bretten in 2022. From 2022 to 2025 he exhibited several times with BETTER GO SOUTH in Stuttgart and Berlin, and in 2024 presented his conceptual work at the Museum der zeitgenössischen Kunst in Heidenheim.
