Sebastiàn Jauregui
b. 1995, Colombia
Lives and works in Berlin
Sebastián Jauregui is a Colombian-German artist based in Berlin. Having grown up between Colombia and Germany, he brings a personal proximity to questions of uncertainty: fear, coincidence, and the desire for control through superstition.
From a young age, he began inventing private systems to make sense of chance and to impose a pattern on what could not be predicted. Jauregui is a self-taught painter and holds an M.A. in Design from the Royal College of Art, London. His design training informs a crisp, highly controlled working process and a precise approach to structure, light, and colour. Working across still life, portraiture, and charged everyday objects, his paintings trace how belief becomes a practical tool for navigating the unknown without offering simple conclusions.
Sebastian has participated in multiple group exhibitions across Germany, and in December 2025 he presented his first international Solo exhibition with Moosey Gallery in the UK.
