ANAÏS GOUPY
b. 1987, France
Lives and works in Berlin (DE)
Anaïs Goupy investigates the relationship between humans and machines, exploring how technology and culture shape feminine representation. Her installations combine digital and analog techniques, blending holographic figures, AI and Trompe l’oeil painting to question authorship and authenticity.
Her work draws from online trends, history and pop culture, creating immersive experiences that challenge perception and invite reflection on identity and visual communication.
Goupy holds a master’s degree in video art and painting from the National Art School Villa Arson in Nice and a postgraduate degree in Art and Installation from the Leipzig Academy of Fine Arts. In 2024, she will join a six month residency at the International Studio & Curatorial Program in New York, supported by the Free State of Saxony.
