MIRJAM ROTH

Lives and works in Stuttgart (DE)

Mirjam Roth worked as an interior designer and prop master at theaters across Baden-Württemberg before opening her own studio at the Künstlerhaus Heilbronn in 2019. Since then, she has been developing her practice as a freelance artist.

Her work explores materiality, composition, and the transformation of everyday objects and theatrical elements into painted narratives. Roth approaches painting with a sensitivity shaped by her background in stage design, emphasizing spatial relationships and subtle storytelling.

Since 2023, she has been studying fine art at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart under Prof. Alisa Margolis. Her work has been included in several regional group exhibitions, and in 2022 she presented her first major solo exhibition at the Museum Altes Rathaus Leingarten.
